Aberdeen Field Sports is working in conjunction with Willie Banks, AAPGAI Master Instructor to introduce and develop the skills of anglers in Grampian. Catering for all ages.
Field Sports staff and associates are Disclosure Scotland checked and first aid certified.
We offer beginner sessions in fly casting, right through to instructor preparation.
Willie will demonstrate and teach everything from basic trout rod overhead casting to the most advanced Spey casting in a very relaxed and professional manner. I certainly enjoyed me lessons!
As an added bonus much of the tuition takes place on the banks of the Deeat the Tilbouries beat, just upstream from the Maryculter Bridge. New anglers will appreciate the chance to see salmon, seatrout, deer, otters & Kingfishers around the river, others may even take up the opportunity to book a days fishing, with a very real chance to hook a salmon, whilst trying out the newly learned skills.
Looking into the neck of the Lawson pool, the longest pool on the Dee and a great place to hook into a Springer.
